Henson Creek RV Park, located on Henson Creek, has been operating since the 1950's. There is an enclosed game room onsite, as well as a bathhouse and laundry room. The park has 28 full hookups. All sites comes with water, sewer, 30/50amp electricity and Wi-Fi. For site availability and pricing quotes, please email the managers at trailhiker227@gmail.com.

Welcome to Henson Creek RV Park! The RV park opened in the 50's and is located in the quaint little town of Lake City, which is snuggled in the San Juan mountains of Colorado. Even though this is a small town, there are lots of exciting and fun things to do. Choose between backpacking, boating, camping, horseback riding... the list is endless!!
There is a diverse selection of shops in the town square and savory places to dine after a long day of mountain excursions. Nearby there is the Alpine Loop and Silver Thread Scenic and Historic Byways.
A favorite of hikers are the Five Fourteeners, which are peaks in the mountain range that are over 14,000 feet. Lake San Cristobal, a great place for fishing, is the second largest natural lake in Colorado and is three miles south of Lake City.

The owners of the Henson Creek RV Park are Joe and Kaye Maddry. The Maddry's begin preparations in early May, to have the park ready by the first of June. Please feel free to email the Maddry's with any questions or to reserve your site for next summer! But hurry... the park fills up quickly!
